Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri dixit, an Indian actress famous for Hum Aapke Hing Koun (Beta Saajan) and Beta Saajan is among the most well-known Indian actors. She was first known for her role in Tezaab from the 1980s, in which she co-starred along with veteran actor Anil Koopor. Then, she starred alongside Aamir as part of Dil. As a young girl growing up in Mumbai's middle-class, she began to learn how to dance. When she was still in high school, she tried her hand at acting, however most of her early movies failed. She eventually became one of the biggest actresses of Indian film. Following her wedding was over, she took a few months to rest from her acting career prior to returning. She played a major role in Gulaab Gang, a film focused on women's struggles in India. Dixit was nominated for fifteen Filmfare Awards, out of which she took home eight. Dixit was also awarded the Padma Shri the fourth highest civilian honour in India. She is known for her social works as well.
