Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. He is a major player within the Latin mainstream. His 2016 hit Una Lady Como Tu was the winner of a Colombian Kids Choice Award for Favorite Song in the year 2017. His debut album ADN was made available through La Industria Inc., an Medellin-based Sony distribution firm. In the Top Latin Albums chart, it reached no. 8. In the following year, he was a part of Ozuna to record their Top Five smash Vaina Loca. In the year 2020, he teamed up with Noriel on Mala Influencia and dropped the album Dopamina that year. The year 2021 was the first time he was in a duet with TINI for her viral stream track Maldita Foto. In 2023, 2000 with the hit La Bachata was released. Turizo is a musician who was born into a musical family. His mother and brother were also musicians. In interviews he has described the music he plays as a compulsory activity.
